Dmitri Timokhin & Natalia Petrova retire from competitive dancing

We have received the results from the Russian Professional Latin Championships and learned that the expected "duel" between Dmitri Timokhin & Natalia Petrova and Sergey Sourkov & Agnieszka Melnicka did not happen. Dmitri and Natalia announced their retirement and finished their competitive career with the last Rumba. Dmitri and Natalia were the Russian Professional Latin vice-champions in 2008 and bronze-medallists at the WDC World Cup Professional Latin in Nov 2008. See more results and photos
The new Russian Professional Latin champions are now Sergey Sourkov & Agnieszka Melnicka. It was their first appearance as a couple dancing for Russia, previously they were the Polish Professional Latin vice-champions and represented Poland at the World and European championships.
